Tradewind Salvage Solutions is now the newest and largest sponsor of the Reeves Performance Racing Team. That’s right, the steel titans are backing the horsepower hometown heroes.
Willy Sabo, the mastermind behind Tradewind Salvage, has been a long-time friend, business collaborator, and motorsports enthusiast in western Canada. This guy’s been around the track more times than a set of Goodyears. When Willy caught wind of the 1970 Chevelle YETI purchase and the Reeves Performance plans to dominate the NPK series across North America in 2025, he didn’t waste a second. “How do I get my name on the side of this hauler?” he asked, with the kind of enthusiasm you’d expect from a kid in a candy store.
Negotiations? Please. It was more like a pit stop. Quick, efficient, and with a lot of high-fives. Before you could say “burnout,” it was ‘cheers’ to the new adventure.
Willy Sabo and Rob Reeves, Helluvachevy team owner, have been doing business together for years. These two grown men act like little boys with new toys whenever they venture into big business (kinda like steel inventory). Their shared enthusiasm and knack for making things happen have been the driving force behind many successful ventures, and this partnership is no exception.

The Tradewind collaboration and Willy’s support is instrumental. “Not just because he’s a big name in the steel game, but because he’s one of us—a true gearhead with a passion for power and a talent for turning ideas into reality” says Helluvachevy Driver Chevy Reeves. With Tradewind Salvage Solutions on board, we’re ready to take on the NPK series and show North America what we’re made of.
The entire Tradewind Salvage Solutions team is revved up about this partnership. Everyone is enthusiastic about the marketing potential and confident not only in Chevy’s ability behind the wheel but also in the team’s skills as promoters and business developers. This collaboration is more than just a sponsorship; it’s a strategic alliance that showcases our shared passion for excellence and innovation.
While Crew Chief Dean and the Helluvachevy Team were tinkering in the shop, we were ready to say out with the old and in with the new. Our good friend Casey Adams with DC Signs came to the shop to get the Tradewind decals in place

When it comes to making a statement on the track, details matter. That’s why we turned to DC Signs and our go-to guy, Casey, to give the Tradewind Salvage logo a fresh, icy makeover. Casey took the Tradewind brand and revamped it to showcase cool colors that perfectly complement the YETI’s misty turquoise exterior.
The result? A full back quarter panel display that screams power and precision. We’re beyond proud to showcase Tradewind Salvage as part of the Helluvachevy and Reeves Performance family. This isn’t just a logo—it’s a badge of honor, a testament to our commitment to excellence, and a perfect match for the YETI’s fierce presence on the track.

With Tradewind Salvage’s name emblazoned in icy hues, we’re ready to turn heads and leave our mark on the racing world, we’re so proud to showcase Tradewind as part of the Helluvachevy and Reeves Performance family. And the Tradewind logo on the car is just the beginning. Plans are already underway for a fresh hauler wrap that will turn heads at every stop, and we’re rolling out exclusive, steel-solid merch that will have fans lining up. This partnership is set to be as bold and unstoppable as the YETI itself.
With Tradewind Salvage’s home base in Mission, BC, and NPK set to return to Mission Raceway Park for year two of the Canadian swing, we can’t wait for the hometown crowd to roar with excitement as Chevy and the YETI pull up to the starting line.
The Reeves family, with their long history of motorsport event operations and fan entertainment, will ensure stellar hospitality for the Tradewind Salvage Team and guests. Expect nothing less than excellence. The YETI Pit will be transformed into a VIP haven, where guests can get up close and personal with the team as they haul ass between rounds.
